Memorial Day Weekend, 2007
Where: Bryan, Ohio, home of the world famous Etch-a-sketch! Attention all Chrysler product enthusiasts.... Everyone is invited to the third annual Mopar meet in NW Ohio. This meet fills in a gap left by other meets around the country. This meet is for anyone in the vicinity of NW Ohio. Last year's meet was a huge success so we hope you will come this year and enjoy the fun! The plans for the weekend are varied and flexable but that doesn't mean boring! Some of the activities include cookouts, classic diners, museums, salvage yards and getting to know other Chrysler enthusiasts and their cars. On Friday there will be the intital gathering of folks at Fortner Acres, in Pulaski, Ohio. We will have a meet and greet cook-out. We can spent the evening talking about and driving each other's cars. On Saturday, we'll hop in our cars and take a nice 30 minute drive to Auburn, Indiana to visit the Aurburn Cord Dusenburg Museum. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is located in the original Art Deco building that was used by the Auburn Automobile Company as their showroom and administrative building. Upon entering you will view at least 100 vehicles and many other artifacts that make this museum one of the finest museums in the world. After the museum tour, we will make our way back to Bryan and have dinner at an authentic 50's style diner. On Sunday, there is an option to visit the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan or we can go yard crawling if anyone so desires. We'll have a cookout at Fortner Acres, a luxury resort home in Pulaski, Ohio, owned by the meet host, Tony Fortner. There are a number of places to stay while in Bryan. You can see a list of some Hotels near the meet. Everyone is welcome and this will also be a family event as well so bring the wife or husband and kids and all are invited to have a great weekend.
